Cedar Street ParkBy: Rogue Ramblers Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
After figuring out the set-up, I probably should have left this cache for another time: The park was packed with families enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning. Unfortunately, I didn't, which was fine...until the time came to put it back. I had to have one of the kids come over by the hide so that I could pretend to tie his shoe. Actually, I'm pretty proud of myself for thinking of this ruse. Thanks for showing us this park. We'll be back! mjp303

I woke up this morning and thought to myself, "Okay, today is the day!", since this cache has been on my nearest page for about 2 years now. Wonder how you get there?By: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
3TF. I love the things you see while caching: So, I'm walking along and here comes a small hawk carrying a large rabbit. The rabbit is kicking and squirming like crazy. It's so heavy, and the motions are so vigorous that the hawk can't hang on and stay in the air. So the hawk drops the rabbit...onto the highway. In its fright, the rabbit runs into the tunnel. Five seconds later, I hear a loud WHACK! [:O][:O] Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire! Oh, I found the cache too. Thanks. mjp303

CITO Cache - San LeandroBy: Fremont Area Meet & Eat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

The Guy-y CacheBy: Muggle Finder Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I found the cache partially buried in excavated dirt. Some sort of buried cables are being placed in a trench that runs literally a couple of feet from its hiding place. It suprising to me that the workers didn't notice the cache. I tried to hide it better, but it's still uncomfortably close to the work site. mjp303

After aborting an ill-conceived plan to cache in the east bay, I ended up here. (What was I thinking trying to cross the Bay Bridge late on a Friday afternoon???). The place I found was a very pleasant suprise! Upon arrival at the cache site, I interrupted a pair of aspiring artists that were engaged in self-expression on those granite blocks with a sharpie marker. They were curious about my GPSr, and once I explained things, they watched me search a bit. Shortly, the 'drawing' was done, and they departed. I had actually spotted it earlie r, but decided not to pull it out until they left. Caches 28; Days 18 TFTC. mjp303

ANX: The Angle of EternityBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
What a great afternoon for a group caching trek! [8D] A group effort all the way; we started slow, but picked up steam as the puzzles unfolded. Stage 1: Boulter said the answer was right under his nose; for us, it was just above mine. The level of our confusion was nicely illustrated by both craw, who was looking for inspiration in paint flecks, and vaccine, who figured that bird poop meant something significant.
Stage 2: In theme and nicely done. It wasn't long before a pattern emerged though.
Stage 3: I had to snicker a bit at bthomas and vaccine who were way off in the bushes somewhere when craw, burr, and I found the puzzle. It was their insight, though, that led us to a solution.
Stage 4: Plenty of evidence of previous c achers at this spot, and I must admit that we felt obliged to comb over all the same tired spots. As we should have anticipated a lot quicker, the hide was truely unique. As time goes on it won't get any easier. I think craw said it would aquire 'patina'. Indeed.
Stage 5: We fanned out pretty quickly on this one, and as I was contemplating a hike up a pretty steep slope bthomas made the find.
Final: This one reminded me of some sort of reality show contest. You know, the kind where one person shouts instructions to his blind-folded teammates...Lots of confusion, vague gesturing, dozen s of opinions and requests. Gradually things came together though, and we had finished the quest.
Back in the car on the way home, we happened to glance at the picture on the cache page, carefully printed out and carried along, but forgotten in the heat of the moment. Hey! that would have been re ally helpful.
It's simply a tribute to this cache, which fit together on so many levels it's truly amazing. Grand fun. Thanks so much for putting it together.

When we arrived on scene, there was a kid trying to feed his dollar into the vending machine. It must have been pretty wrinkled, 'cuz he was having trouble. Z's Favorite #1By: SPnZ Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
I was really enjoying this multi...until I got to the final location. Crouching there in the bushes, my worst fears were realized: Here comes a maintainance worker up the service road to check on things behind the fence! Cursing my bad luck, I started to pray he wouldn't notice me, which fortunately he didn't, even though I was close enough to spit on his truck. After he went inside the fence, I was able to high-tail it down the hill without being noticed. Why the heck did you decide to put the final there??? Suspicious lurking in the bushes by this place is going to cause a problem eventually. Thankfully it wasn't me. I strongly suggest you move it.
