A View of Henry Ford's BehindBy: gumbyandeddy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I searched for awhile with another cacher, Right Turn Only. (Nice to meet you!) We zeroed out in the back corner, but had no luck. If it's on the ground, there's plenty of hiding places, and a hint would be appreciated. I don't think it's on the fence. We ignored all the suspicious Mom stares. I'll come with the kids next time. Nice park!

After reading through all the logs, I guess I don't feel too bad about a DNF on this cache. It sure was frustrating while I was searching though.
I Lost My MarblesBy: DKAK Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Crawburr and I were chatting, and realized that we were on the wrong trail. A quick little bushwhack through the tall wet grass led us to a geotrail, and shortly thereafter the cache. I had 2 marbles to trade, but one was the same as the others in the container, so I only left the one. TFTC. mjp303

Third time is the charm, I guess! Teamed up with NavySparks and vaccine which helped a lot. Nicely hidden. Thanks for showing me this corner of the park! mjp303 February 8: Strike 2! Well, now guess I don't have darkness as an excuse. Since the cache area is really quite non-descript, the hint wasn't much help. Sigh.
February 7: I followed the owners instruction (subsequently deleted), and slowly moved until I zeroed out. EPE was ±12 feet, meaning (in theory) that I had approximately 100 square feet to search. No dice. Probably it was just too dark. The hint, which I didn't have, would have been helpful. In any case, the view was spectacular, and I loved the trail. Thanks! mjp303

niradw, your points are well taken. Those scary words *should* be covered up. I guess I'm just used to them by now, and didn't think twice. I'm pretty sure there was a stash note when I placed the cache, but perhaps it has gone missing. I'll take care of things in the near future. Welcome to geocaching! mjp303

I was completely bamboozled on this one. After searching for a bit, I had settled on a particular object, and couldn't seem to stop trying to figure out how it related to the cache. It turns out there was no relationship at all. Just a plain old red herring. Meanwhile the others got the job done. Thanks. mjp303
