southern taiwan science parkBy: shinn Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Another visit to Taiwan from the United States for me, and voila! a cache only 1.5 miles from where I'm working. [8D] Amazing! So we came over to visit the park and find the cache tonight. The breeze made it pleasant, although I was drenched with sweat by the time we made it back to the car. I found the well hidden cache, and traded three travelling geocoins for one travel bug tag. (If you remember my last visit, I took a TB, but didn't have one to leave in trade...hopefully this visit will make up for that one!) Thanks for the adventure. mjp303

2TF @ 5:30p. Well, I didn't intend this to be #1500, but having DNF'd 'Kiss of the Oceans' up in SF at lunch-time, that's the way it turned out. Travelling this route twice a day for the last 4+ years, of course I'd seen the bus stops, but never given them a second thought. Quite mysterious. Well, we thought we knew where this one was going when we saw the freeway exit sign, but caching always throws some interesting twists. It seems that he has noticed some unusual activity in the last few weeks: 'There's sure a lot of folks stopping by recently, and I wondered what's going on?' Well, I proceeded to give my best GC.com PR speech, showing him my GPSr, PDA with cache description, cache container, log sheet, etc, etc, etc. I figure you can consider the guy fully informed now. He was pretty suprised that all of this has been going on under his nose for over a year now, though, and did mention that he didn't appreciate the person who was digging around the base of his sign.
