Twin Peak

By: Brian Imbro Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

I loved the singletrack trail down the hill from Eagle Peak! Views, wildflowers, and a ridgeline. Thanks for luring me up here, and thanks for the cache. mjp303

Deer Flat

By: mathgen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro

This was our resting spot after climbing that steep fire road out of Mitchell Canyon. I was glad for the cooler weather today, although it was a bit chilly after sitting for a bit. TFTC. mjp303

DIABLO 10K?

By: 4wheeler Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

The wind nearly blew us off the ridge! Quite a spectacular view from up at the cache site! TFTC. mjp303

Walk by the Creekside ?Rest like a Begyptian

By: HanSohn Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

This cache was our first stop as we headed up the hill to visit Eagle Peak. After a couple of false starts looking for a place to cross the creek, and a short wade through the tall, green grass, we made a satisfying find. Thanks. mjp303

Runner's Luck

By: Rundex Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Along with the cache, we found a pretty creek and flowers near this cache! Thanks! mjp303

Manzanita

By: kbrece Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Red rocks, green grass, and blue skies...well, no blue skies today. It was grey and cloudy, but two out of three is not bad! Thanks for the cache! mjp303

Fly Like a Beagle

By: PaulWhy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

My objective for today's hike: the oldies are the best! It was quite an effort to get up here, but well worth it. Thanks! mjp303

Z - is for Zebra

By: NamGuy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

After learning about the Hearst zoo the day before, we were keen to spot some unusual wildlife, but alas it was not to be. Plenty of green grass everywhere, so I figure they don't need to come down by the fence! TFTC. mjp303

Stranded in a foreign country

By: Zaulyn Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Definitely a spot worthy of a long trip in order to visit. Fantastic! TFTC. mjp303

Beach Bum Takes A Holiday

By: Zaulyn Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Whew, that wind was chilly! A storm coming in I suspect. Thanks for a fun hide in a very scenic spot. mjp303

BeachGate

By: NamGuy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Headed all the way up the coast today, so no time to stop and hike. Thanks for the fun cache along our way! mjp303

Boulder Holder

By: private bones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

A quick stop to grab a cache in another DeLorme map page. This trailhead appears to be quite popular, there were cars lining the road for quite a distance. TFTC. mjp303

Roosevelt Highway Fountain - Lucia

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

A very interesting reminent of an earlier time! The way this road perches on the edge of the cliffs is amazing. TFTC. mjp303

Roosevelt Highway Fountain - Elmer S. Rigdon

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I loved watching for the original stonework along the highway near this cache! Many stretches still remain, and I'm sure many have fallen victim to the elements. Very nice. TFTC. mjp303

Owings Memorial in Redwood Gulch

By: campyc Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

What a beautiful spot. I loved the water tumbling down the rocks! Like others have said, sort of a bushwhack to get to GZ, but well worth the effort! TFTC. mjp303

Albino Sempervirens

By: Touchstone Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

We slogged through the muddy campground (glad we weren't staying here!) and made a fairly quick find. The kids were disappointed find just a stump with a few sprouts, but it lead to a good discussion of why the tree wasn't the most healthy one in the forest. Thanks! mjp303

Great Wall of Gorda

By: Iron Chef and Eep! Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Great views! Thank goodness for cliff stabilizing technology! mjp303

Gem of Big Sur

By: Team Jelly Belly & Leap Frog Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

A very busy spot on a Springbreak weekend, and definitely worth the hype. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot! mjp303

On a Mission

By: blackpurl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

A bit early for our Hearst Castle tour, we stopped off. The kids had fun walking out on the pier, and we snapped a few pictures before finding the cache and heading up the hill. Thanks. mjp303

SE AL Elephants

By: Mayfield 4 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

The parking lot was packed with springbreakers like us. Plenty of elephant seals to gawk at. Everyone was looking at the beach, and I was able to swoop in for the grab with no difficulty. Thanks for pointing out this interesting spot! mjp303

Jardin De Las Mariposas

By: Mayfield 4 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

Classic California Coast

By: bllackpurl Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This was one of our stops on the way to Cambria for a springbreak vacation. Thanks for getting us out of the car along this beautiful road! I exchanged travel bugs. mjp303

Cove View

By: SLO Trekker Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

This was a tricky hide in a very scenic spot. All of the new grass springing up made the cache really hard to find. Thanks. mjp303

Begining or The End

By: Bobdm Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Not a begining or an ending, merely a side-swipe. TFTC. mjp303

Morro Rock Earthcache

By: Mauison Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

Morro Rock is one of the most impressive Earthcaches I've done! What an interesting geological feature. The six of us visited on a very windy day, although on the sheltered side of the rock the warm sun was quite pleasant, and we spent a long time playing on the beach. Thanks for bringing here! mjp303

Up a Creek - Jack

By: Bobdm Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This was the first stop on our spring break jaunt to Cambria, Hearst Castle, and points north. I love these old bridges! TFTC. mjp303
