I was in the area, and decided to give this one a try. It took me a while to expand my search radius enough to find this one. Fortunately, it was easy to spot once I reached the correct location. There was no stash note, so I left a weatherproof one. TN, L my trackable sig tokens, SL. TFTC!
Odd Nuts #3 RamacBy: Team Leggoes Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I was in the area, and this cache looked interesting. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of nut I'd find. This is a nice little park, although I couldn't help but wonder how hot the playground equipment was, given the sun and lack of shade. And I've definitely never seen one of those used as a cache container before. I'll keep my trackable sig token for this nano-cache moving. TNLNSL, TFTC!
Lurking By the Hetch HetchyBy: Runnerinwoods Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
This one has been at the top of my "nearest to home" list for a while, and I finally dropped by to search for it while running errands. I found it in the first place I looked. It's certainly the most elaborate implementation of this particular hide technique that I've found. I'm just glad I read the hint after I'd found the cache. My trackable sig token for this cache wouldn't quite fit, so I'll keep it moving. TNLNSL, TFTC!
Charleston Recovery CacheBy: DragonsWest Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
This was a nice spot to enjoy the summer afternoon. I liked the camouflage: most muggles will ignore it completely, but it was the first thing I checked when I reached GZ. There was no stash note, so I left a weatherproof one. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!

This was a beautiful summer morning to enjoy the garden. I found the cache quickly, once my phone settled down and I identified GZ. It Takes A VillageBy: thelins Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I was running errands today, and this cache showed up on my "nearest to Trader Joe's" list. I enjoyed taking a break in this pleasant little park, which I had to myself. I spotted the cache quickly. The log was a bit damp, so I let it dry in the sun. There was no stash note, so I left a weatherproof one. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. Thanks for bringing me back to this park, and TFTC!
The cache I can't think of a good name forBy: WannaGoCaching Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
This one showed up at the top of my "nearest to home" list, so I dropped by this evening to search for it. I had the place to myself, and spotted it quickly. I did a little CITO before I left. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
Paced HunterBy: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Mrs. niraD and I happened to be in the area this morning, and she graciously allowed me to stop for a cache. This one looked like it would be quick, and like it was in a nice location, so I chose it. It was indeed quick and in a nice location. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
Scout It OutBy: Little"D" Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
This cache was on my "nearest to church" list, so I dropped by. There were more than a dozen mini-muggles nearby, having a great time launching their homemade water rockets. So I waited. This is an interesting memorial. It's clearly seen better days, but it remains as a tribute to Mr. Sheridan and the investment he made in the lives of others.
Eventually, all the mini-muggles had had had 2 turns launching their homemade water rockets, and it was snack time. They all disappeared i nside and I began my search. It turned out that the first thing I checked was the cache, but I didn't check "thoroughly" enough. Eventually, I had checked everywhere else, and checked the cache one more time. I hope this camouflage doesn't lead to the real thing being damaged by overeager geocachers . TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
The Pizza CasaBy: geovan03 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I managed to find parking very nearby, which was surprising at the beginning of the dinner rush. I read several past logs before leaving my car, given the location. As I looked around, one thing stood out, and sure enough, it was the camouflaged cache. TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. TFTC!
ACTIVITY 1 2011By: Venona Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
"If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants." - Isaac Newton On the way home from Alameda (where I grabbed a few quads for the BAQC), I decided to take a bit of a detour to search for this cache. Then Google Navigation took me on a bit more of a detour when I refused to turn on a road that didn't exist. But I eventually f igured out how to access the location, identified GZ, and found the cache. (I didn't measure it, but it didn't seem to be "100ml or larger" to me.) TN, L my trackable sig token, SL. Thanks to Venona for orchestrating this year's ACTIVITIES, thanks to all the GBA members who worked together to overcome the many challenges (including the puzzle for this cache), and TFTC!

When I ride along this frontage road, I usually take the bike lane rather than the trail because the bike lane has smoother pavement and fewer "obstacles" (aka pedestrians).
