Position is Everything!

By: srstuart Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Too bad, this was a good cache and puzzle. Plus it's the only decon container I've seen--which made a great container. Long live the cache!

A Well Rounded Cache Day Challenge

By: Team Rumble Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Did it. Hung out here afterwards to do some logbook maintenance and freaked a cop out, I think. He came up to "make sure I was okay" sitting in my car. Ah well... license plate is likely now logged as "suspicious." I got that challenge, though!

Thanks to J from Elite Panthers for doing the sudoku... he loves 'em, I hate 'em. Good teamwork, that.

Lost City

By: srstuart Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Clearing solved puzzles off my map as I can fit time in. Pretty cool location for the final. It looks like a new property development is coming very soon and this cache might have to go away, so, get on it if you haven't solved this one yet.

A Bear of a Puzzle

By: Team Rumble Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Needed help on this puzzle because I was misunderstanding how to count! The OC helped me with some corrective notes and I had some time to spare today with which to grab a smiley. Also, I took an advertisment pink chip from the cache, but didn't have any trinkets with me to put in--sorry.

Check Please!

By: srstuart Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Clearing out solved puzzle caches, makin' smileys. Gotta admit, there wasn't the "aha moment" on this solve. Felt more like an "Oh, I got lucky to stumble across this non-standard solution on google." Still, thanks for the puzzle!

The Very First Time

By: Team Rumble Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Nice puzzle, figured out the pattern immediately and it checked out. Thanks for not requiring too much bushwhacking!

Sent More Cache

By: Team Rumble Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Loved the puzzle, but this was the worst/scariest cache find I've been on. I think the terrain should be bumped a few stars. After being scared off from one approach by no trespassing signs, I found another way in. But once in, I started smelling the unmistakable scent of skunk. I've had to clean my dogs off a few times from skunk encounters so I was dreading every step. ( I'm out on this one at night-time by the w ay! ) It took either courage or stupidity to go on, but luckily I had enough of both at the time. After committing to trudging through the difficult brush I hear a scuttling sound not too far away. The scent got immediately stronger. I was then stuck there cursing my stupid new choice of a hobby and chanting "this is not worth it" over and over. I'm convinced at this point that "even if I try to go back, I'm going to get sprayed anyway," so I decide after a pause to trudge on. I try making as much noise as I can to wake up any skunks that might be sleeping so I don't catch them off guar d. Every step of the way was a maze to navigate. Flashlight in hand I'm stumbling around trying to find anything that stands out since my gps was bouncing by this point. Luckily the OC was kind enough to choose a spot with a landmark, but reaching it was difficult as well. I eventually reached it , signed my name and made back for the car as quickly as I could--safe and spray-free.

Cache Math Test

By: Team Rumble Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

One of the first puzzle caches I'd solved, but hadn't gotten to this area yet. I decided to clean off all my solved puzzle caches tonight, but after my skunk run-in, I was done bushwacking for awhile. Thankfully this was easy/light bushwhacking so I went for the smiley. TFTP!

Triangulation

By: betseysmiley Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Darn Child-Proof Lids! heheh, that was the hardest part of the whole cache! D'oh!
