Getting here and there

If you're coming from a distance and you've decided to fly, your best bet is to fly into Manchester Airport (MHT). It's very convenient, not expensive, and easy to get in and out of, unlike Boston. If you do fly into Boston, it's about a 55 mile drive to Manchester. (Takes about an hour.)

To St. Kathryn's Church, 4 Dracut Road, Hudson, NH:
Note: The church has moved! It used to be on Lowell Road, but they built a brand new one just for us (ok, not really) on Dracut Road
[ Map ] [ Get directions from anywhere! ]

Hudson is just north of the border of Massachusetts off of NH Route 3. From either direction, take Exit 2 and use the Circumferential Highway to cross the Sagamore Bridge and the Merrimack river. At Lowell Road turn right. Less than one mile south, the road will fork. Bear left onto Dracut Road. The church is on the hill to the left.

To The Bedford Village Inn, 2 Village Inn Lane, Bedford, NH:
[ Map ]

Follow Dracut Road back to Lowell Road and use the Circumferential Highway back to Route 3. Take Route 3 North for about 20 miles. Take 101 West to Bedford. Follow 101 to the first set of lights (intersection of Rt. 101 & 114). Make a left turn at the light continuing on Rt. 101W. Go through the next set of traffic lights. The very next right hand turn is Village Inn Lane.

Some of our guests will be staying with us at the following:
Jeff's Parents' Summer Home (aka The Camp)
155 Lake Road
Webster, NH
(603) 456-3596

To get there:
Take Interstate 93 North. In Bow, take Interstate 89 North. Follow 89 to Exit 8, Warner. At the exit, take a right. Follow this road for a few miles until you see the lake on the right. Just after you pass the lake, take your first right at the large white house to Lake Shore Road. We're the 3rd driveway on the right. Look for a blue mailbox directly across the road from the (unpaved) driveway.

Anne's Uncle's (Wayne Pineau)
26 Hillside Drive
Brookline, NH
(603) 673-4479

Directions from Manchester:
Take 101W to Milford. After about 14 miles, take the Route 13 exit. At the end of exit ramp, take a left to head south on Route 13. Follow 13 for about 10 miles. Just before the Massachusetts border, you will see a sign on the right for Laurelcrest. Take a right. Follow this road until it ends in a T. Go left up the hill onto Wallace Brook Road. Go all the way to the top of the hill. This road ends in a cul-de-sac. At this intersection, take a left onto Hillside drive. The house is on the right, with a mailbox that says Pineau.

Q & A

Q. You guys have been engaged for like, forever!
A. Yeah, it will be almost 2 1/2 years when we get married. You'd think that we'd be totally prepared for a wedding, by now, huh? Hah!

Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. Fiji! We figured why not go somewhere exotic while we're way on the left coast.

Q. Wait, last time I heard from you guys, you lived in Boston! What happenned?
A. It's a long story. Let's let someone else tell it.

Q. Are you ever moving back to New England?
A. Yeah, it's in the master plan. So far other things keep usurping our master plan though, so we have no idea when.

Q. OK, what about the sappy stuff? How did you meet?
A. Jeff: I first met Anne in my Junior year when we ended up living across the hall from each other. Anne was that girl who kept sticking her head in my doorway and saying hello.

Q. Yeah, so how did you propose?
A. Jeff: When we in the midsts of getting ready to move Seattle, we went to the Cape for a day. It was a pretty spontaneous thing - we were standing on the beach at Race Point and I just decided to ask and she decided to say "yes". A week later, I asked her again on a beach in Washington, just to make sure I was covered on both coasts.
